On October 28, D. D. Hachar Elementary launched Red Ribbon Week with students and staff dressed in red to represent their commitment to a drug-free school. This year's theme, “Go Red for Red Ribbon Week,” marked the beginning of a series of themed days designed to reinforce the importance of healthy, drug-free living. Principal Villarreal stated, “Our goal is to inspire our students to make positive choices, and Red Ribbon Week is a meaningful way to highlight the importance of staying drug-free.”
With a week full of engaging themes like Cowboy Day, Superhero Day, and Halloween celebrations, D. D. Hachar is dedicated to instilling confidence in students to say no to drugs and live their best lives.
